This is a nice way to spice up regular pickled olives. They make a lovely appetizer.

- 1 jar (375 ml) green olives (pimento stuffed)
- 3/4 cup vegetable juice (vegetable cocktail juice)
- 2 tablespoons oil (olive oil)
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
- 3 garlic cloves (pressed)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
