Turkey Sausage and Kale Bread Pudding
Turkey Sausage and Kale Bread Pudding is the best thing I've ever made. This recipe is a wonderful addition to any fall feast and can easily be made vegetarian.
Ingredients
- 4 ounces gruyere cheese
- 8 ounces turkey sausage
- salt & black pepper
- 2 medium onion
- 5 eggs
- 1 large bunch Swiss chard or kale
- 10 dates
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
- 5 cups 1% milk
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme
- 8 cups whole grain bread
- 2 cloves garlic
