• 220 g butter, softened
• 500 g strong flour, plus extra for greasing
• 3 cardamom pods, plus extra for dusting
• 1⁄2 tsp fine salt, seeds removed and finely crushed
• 7 g dried yeast
• 1 egg
• 1-2 tsp sunflower oil, beaten
• 170 g light brown sugar, for greasing
• 3 tbsp ground cinnamon
• 70 g sultanas
• 65 g icing sugar
• 3 tsp milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
