Spanish Style Sausage Salad | Basic Sausage Recipe with Bratwurst

Ingredients

• 1 large Hellers plain bratwurst sausage
• 1 red pepper deseeded and cut into strips
• 6 gourmet potatoes cut in half rounds
• ¼ tsp chilli flakes
• 12 whole blanched almonds
• 2 tbsp capers
• ½ white onion very thinly sliced
• 1 can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
• 25g sharp cheddar
• 1 small bunch italian parsley destalked and roughly chopped
• Mizuna or rocket leaves
• Olive oil
• 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar or sherry vinegar
• Sea salt and cracked pepper
• Lemon wedges
