- 250 grams soft unsalted butter

- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 30 millilitres rum (optional)
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 50 grams dark brown sugar
- 175 grams milk chocolate (finely chopped)
