Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, butter, or bacon grease
• 1 onion, chopped
• 3 heaping cups chopped green cabbage
• 1 stalk celery, chopped
• 1 carrot, sliced
• 1 medium potato, diced
• 4 cups chicken broth
• 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
• 1 teaspoon dried dill
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• salt and pepper to taste
