Whoever states Carbonara has cream, mushrooms, or anything other than the below should hang their heads in shame.
Ingredients
- 4 OZ of pasta of your choice - fresh or dry (I use spaghetti)
- 1 egg
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 ½ pecorino romano cheese - shredded (or shredded parmezan)
- ⅓ guanciale - diced (or panceta or bacon)
- 1x Measuring Cups
- 1x Measuring Spoons
- 1x Cutting Board
- 1x Chef’s knife
- 1x Large Fry Pan or Sauté Pan or Stir Fry Pan
- 1x Wooden Spoon or High-Temperature Silicone Spatula
- 1x Tongs (preferably with silicone tips)
