• 1/4 cup Amaretto, warmed
• 6 medium Bartlett pears
• Juice from 1 lemon
• 2 cups water
• 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 1/4 cup almonds, sliced and toasted
• 12 sheets Athens Phyllo Dough (9 x 14 ), thawed
• 1/4 cup butter, melted
• Amaretto-flavored whipped cream, raspberry and/or chocolate sauce
