Sauerkraut & Kielbasa Skillet (with Apple & Onion) - Jake & Amos

Ingredients

• 1 pound kielbasa sausage (or similar smoked sausage)
• 1 tablespoon cooking oil
• 1 onion, thinly sliced
• 1 apple, peeled and cut in thin sticks
• 1/2 cup malty dark beer or hard cider
• 3 cups J&A Sauerkraut, drained
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 2 bay leaves
• 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
• 2 whole cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns (green or black)
• 1 cup stock (vegetable or beef)
