• 1 medium onion, peeled
• 1 large egg
• 2 tablespoons Swans Down® Cake Flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 cup schmaltz* (recipe follows)
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• Chopped parsley, for garnish
• Schmaltz
• 8 chicken thighs, skin on
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 Spanish onion, peeled and chopped
