• 1 tablespoon 15ml Brown sugar
• 2 Bay leaves
• 2 sections Fresh rosemary
• 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt
• 2 Firm slightly not-quite-ripe pears - skin removed,
• Cored and halved
• 3 tablespoons 45ml Chilled butter
