Ingredients

• 3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
• 1-1/3 cups sugar
• 1-1/2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tablespoons orange juice
• 1 cup chopped almonds
• 1 cup dried Door County cherries
• 1 egg white, beaten (for glazing the biscotti)
• Sugar to sprinkle on glazed biscotti prior to baking
