Ingredients

• 150 g (5½ oz/1 cup) flour
• 2 tbsp cocoa powder
• 150 g (5½ oz) cream cheese (full fat)
• 50 g (1¾ oz) butter, softened
• 100 g (3½ oz) caster (superfine) sugar
• 2 eggs
• 30 ml (1 fl oz) milk
• 100 g (3½ oz) butter
• 1 pinch salt
• 1½ tsp baking powder
• 3–4 candy canes, chopped
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 350 g (12 oz) icing sugar (confectioner’s sugar)
