• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 pound tripolini pasta
• 2 tablespoons salted butter
• ¼ cup all-purpose flour
• 2 cups 2% milk
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• salt & pepper
• dash freshly grated nutmeg
• ½ cup Pecorino romano cheese (Locatelli)
• 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 4 leaves basil
• 12 medium cherry tomatoes
• for garnish red pepper flakes
