- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup strong coffee
- grated rind of 1/2 a lemon
- grated rind of 1/2 an orange
- 2 tablespoons brandy
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup dates, diced
- 1 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger or nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups Mishpacha Flour, sifted
