Germantown Cabbage and Kielbasa Stew

Ingredients

• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
• 1 tablespoon canola oil
• 1 pound pre-browned ground beef
• 1 pound russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 4 slices smoked bacon, cut into small pieces
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups beef stock
• 1/2 pound kielbasa, sliced into thin rounds
• 1 medium-size cabbage, cored and coarsely chopped
• 1 large onion, finely chopped
