Bourbon-Glazed Lemon Babkas

Ingredients

• mini loaf pan (see note)
• 1 tablespoon instant yeast
• 4 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon Gefen Pure Vanilla Extract
• 1 tablespoon Gefen Lemon Juice
• 2 tablespoons Lemon Zest Marmalade (see note)
• 1/2 cup hot water
• 1/2 cup whole milk or nondairy milk substitute
• 3/4 cup (1 and 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine
• 2 eggs
• 3/4 cup (1 and 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, room temperature
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup Gefen Confectioners’ Sugar
• 2 teaspoons Boondocks or other bourbon
• 2 teaspoons Gefen Lemon Juice
