Ingredients

• 2 tsp sesame seeds
• 4 tbsp olive oil
• 3 garlic cloves, crushed or finely chopped
• 1 tsp ground coriander
• sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 4 large potatoes, such as Desiree, halved lengthways
• 140 g/5 oz/⅔ cup salted butter
• ¼ tsp ground cumin
• 3 tbsp finely chopped chives
