Ham and Asparagus Strata - Manitoba Egg Farmers

Ingredients

• 10 slices white bread (crusts removed), cut into 1 inch (2.5 cm) cubes
• 1 ½ cups (375 mL) ham, diced
• 3 cups chopped asparagus (about 1 ¼ lb/750 g)
• ½ sweet red pepper, chopped
• 2 cups (500 mL) shredded Old Cheddar cheese
• 6 eggs
• 3 cups (750 mL) 2% milk
• 3 green onions, chopped
• ½ tsp (2 mL) salt
• ½ tsp (2 mL) pepper
• 1 tsp (5 mL) Worcestershire sauce
• 2 tbsp (30 mL) Dijon mustard
• Pinch of cayenne pepper
