Southern - Style Baked Beans – The Awesome Olive

Ingredients

• 8 slices of bacon, halved
• 1 med onion, cut into small dice
• ½ med green pepper, cut into small dice
• 6 cans (398ml) pork and beans
• ¾ cup barbecue sauce
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ¼ cup Bourbon Maple or Traditional 18 year style Dark Balsamic
• 2 tsp dry mustard or 2 Tbsp Dijon
