• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1/2 medium onion finely chopped
• 2-3 cloves garlic clove (grated)
• 1 tbsp crushed basil
• 1 tsp finely ground black pepper
• kosher salt to taste
• 1 24oz container of marinara or traditional spaghetti sauce
• 1 can chopped roasted tomatoes
