Creamy Potato Soup with Sausage and Sauerkraut - Jake & Amos

Ingredients

• 1 jar (16 ounces) of Jake & Amos Sauerkraut
• 1 pound cooked smoked sausage, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
• 4 cups diced frozen hash brown potatoes
• 1 cup onion, diced
• 1 cup peppers (your choice for level of spice), diced
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 3 cans (14 ounces each) chicken broth, or homemade
• 1 1/2 cups half & half
• 2 tablespoons stone ground mustard
• 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
• Black pepper, to taste
