Ingredients

• 1 package (14.1 oz) refrigerated pie crust (2 crusts)
• 1 1/4 cups (310 ml) plus 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sugar divided
• 5 tbsps (75 ml) corn starch
• 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
• 1 pound (500 g) rhubarb, trimmed and chopped into 1-inch (2.5-cm) pieces
• 1 pound (500 g) strawberries, trimmed and quartered (about 3 cups/750 ml)
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) pure vanilla extract
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) water
