- 750gm stewing beef or chuck cut into pieces
- 1/4 cup flour
- 6 very ripe tomatoes diced
- 15 ml fresh basil chopped
- 5 ml fresh rosemary chopped
- 4 medium potatoes peeled and cut in 8ths
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 5 cups water
- salt and pepper
