• 1 large head of white cabbage
• 300 g minced beef
• 200 g minced pork
• 100 g cooked rice (cooled)
• 1 small onion (finely chopped)
• 1 egg
• 100 ml milk
• 1½ tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp allspice
• 1 tbsp butter (for sautéing)
• 1 tbsp syrup (golden syrup or dark syrup preferred)
• 300 ml beef stock
• Extra butter for greasing the baking dish
