• 1-2 pounds venison round steak
• 3 tablespoons flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 1 16-ounce can tomatoes, sliced
• 1 medium onion, sliced and ringed
• 1/2 cup sliced celery
• 1/2 cup sliced carrot
• 1/2 teaspoon thyme
• Rice or noodles
