SUmmer Corn Pasta - foodsofjane

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb of pasta (I prefer mafaldine or tagliatelle)
• 2 large or 3 small ears of fresh corn on the cob
• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 minced garlic cloves (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
• 1/4 cup freshly chopped basil (I put half of it into the pasta and half of it on top)
• 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
• 2 tsp lemon juice + more for topping
• 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese + more for topping
• Black pepper for topping
