Ingredients

• 3 tb + 1 tsp; (50 g) sugar
• 1 c Unsalted butter; (200 g)
• 2 Eggs
• 1 tb Rum; (15 ml)
• 725 g Flour; sieved
• ; and sliced
• 1 1/2 c Desi ghee; (clarified
• 60 g Almonds; blanched, peeled
• 1/2 Lemon; grated , zest of
• 1 1/4 c Lukewarm milk; (300 ml)
• Butter for greasing
• 25 g Yeast; crumbled
• 1 ts Vanilla essence; (5 ml)
• 1 1/2 c Icing sugar; (300 g)
• 175 g Raisins
• Salt to taste
• 75 g Candied lemon peel; chopped
