Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon bicarb
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon white vinegar
• 1 tablespoon Apricot jam
• 125 g butter
• 3 quarter cup sugar
• Add milk and sugar and boil on low till dissolved well and slightly thicker in consistency
