• 1 teaspoon bicarb
• 1 egg
• 1 cup cake flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons apricot jam
• Add in the milk and bicarb

• ½ cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
• 1.2 cup boiling water
