- 10 medium eggs
- 360 g (2 cups) maple sugar
- 330 ml (1 1/3 cup) butter, melted
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) maple syrup (preferably amber syrup for its rich flavour)
- 360 g (3 cups) pastry flour
- 7 g (1 1/2 tsp) baking powder
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) maple water
