Dad’s Lemon Pie — Les Petites Gourmettes

Ingredients

• 2 small lemons, washed well and dried
• 2 egg whites, beaten with a whisk until frothy
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 2/3 cup sugar *
• 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
• Zest from 1 large lemon
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup fresh Meyer lemon juice (from 2 or 3 lemons)
• 1 cup cold heavy cream
• 1/4 cup powdered sugar
