Beef Empanadas - Shawnee Milling

Ingredients

• HOMEMADE EMPANADA DOUGH INGREDIENTS:
• 3 C Shawnee Best All Purpose Flour
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1 1/2 sticks Chilled unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
• 1 Egg
• 1/3-1/2 C Water (start with 1/3, add as needed)
• BEEF FILLING INGREDIENTS:
• 4 T Butter or olive oil
• 1 Medium onion, chopped
• 3 cloves Garlic, minced
• 2 tsp Mexican oregano
• 2 tsp Chili powder
• 2 tsp Cumin, ground
• 1 tsp Smoked paprika
• 1 lb Ground beef
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 1 Whisked egg for egg wash
