South-of-the-Border Beef Tacos with Guacamole Dip - Canadian Beef | Canada Beef

Ingredients

• 1 lb (0.45 kg) lean ground beef
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) chili powder
• 1 tsp (5 mL) dried oregano
• ½ tsp (2 mL) ground cumin (optional)
• ¼ tsp (1 mL) dried red pepper flakes
• 1 cup (250 mL) milk
• ⅓ cup (75 mL) tomato paste
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 12 taco shells
• Toppings: Shredded lettuce, diced tomato and sweet green pepper, salsa, sour cream and shredded cheese
