Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups (225 g) unbleached all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
• 1/3 cup (55 g) maple sugar
• 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) cold maple butter
• 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
• Icing sugar, for sprinkling
