Strufoli We started with two handwritten strufoli recipes from Nanny, slightly different versions of Robin's childhood Italian holiday dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 large navel orange (rinsed)
- 1 large lemon (rinsed)
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup canola, plus more for frying oil
- ¼ teaspoon fine salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon double-acting baking powder
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour (divided, plus more for flouring)
- 1 pound honey
- round colored sprinkles nonpareils DÉCORS
