• 1/2 pound orzo pasta
• 5 tablespoons margarine or butter
• 9 tablespoons flour
• 11 1/2 cups water
• 4 1/2 tablespoons chicken base (similar to bouillon cubes, but in powder form)
• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• 1/2 tablespoon grated lemon zest
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
• 1 1/4 cups whisked cracked eggs (about 6 eggs)
• 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped sorrel
