• 1 quantity flaky pie dough link to recipe below
• plain flour for dusting
• 1 egg beaten
• fennel seeds for sprinkling
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 small onion diced
• 1 clove garlic finely chopped
• 1 tbsp fennel seeds
• 4 pork sausages skinned
• 200ml passata
• 150g grated mozzarella (see cook's notes)
