Pear French Toast Casserole – WLDS

Ingredients

• 4 T butter, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
• 1/2 c brown sugar, packed
• 3 pears, chopped
• 1/2 lb whet bread, cubed
• 1/2 lb sourdough bread, cubed
• 6 eggs
• 1 1/2 c egg substitute
• 1 1/2 c fat-free milk
• 2 T sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
• 1/4 c sliced almonds
