- 1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine (Shaoxing)
- 1 teaspoon five spice powder
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 pound of rock salt
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
