Ingredients: 4 cups large chunks cooked chicken; or; 3 lb chicken; 3 lbs chicken pieces or store-bought cooked chicken; 1 red onion; 1 small fennel; 2 red peppers, seeded; 3 tbsp butter; 1/3 cup all purpose flour; 1/2 cup white wine; 1 cup table cream; 2 tsp dried leaf basil; 1 tsp dried leaf sage (optional); 1/2 tsp salt; 410 ml jar of Alfredo pasta sauce; 1/2 cup shredded fresh basil leaves (optional); 1 puff pastry sheet from a 450 g pkg pre-rolled frozen puff pastry or 2/3 of 397 g pkg frozen puff pastry, thawed; 1 egg, whisked (optional)
