- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup hot water or coffee
- 2 tablespoons double-Dutch cocoa*
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, broken into small chunks
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
