• 1 cup + 2 tablespoons boiling water
• 1 tablespoon + 1 1/2 teaspoon oil (I use extra-virgin olive oil)
• 1/2 cup honey
• 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 3/4 teaspoon allspice
• 1/4 teaspoon cloves
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups wholewheat pastry flour
• 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 cup chopped walnust
