Ingredients

• 3 TBSP offrying oil (any kind) (adjust if needed)
• 1onion - peeled and chopped (large onion)
• 2potatoes of your choice - peeled and diced (medium sized potatoes *)
• 1 LB ofPolish kielbasa - sliced (Or high-quality hot dogs that were used in the original versions)
• 1 TBSP ofground paprika (optionally substitute with chili powder if you prefer a spicier flavo)
• 3 TBSP ofall-purpose flour
• 4 cups ofchicken broth/stock (or vegetable broth)
• ½ cup ofmilk (preferably whole milk)
• ½ cup ofheavy cream
• 2 cloves ofgarlic - peeled and grated (or pressed)
• 1 TSP ofsalt (**)
• ½ TSP ofpepper - ideally freshly ground
• 6 TBSP ofsour cream
• 6 TSP ofchives - finely chopped (adjust if needed)
