Ingredients

• 1 1/3 cups (325 mL) all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp (2 mL) each baking powder and baking soda
• 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
• 3/4 cup (175 mL) granulated sugar
• 1/3 cup (75 mL) Ontario unsalted butter, melted
• 2 large Ontario eggs
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) vanilla
• 1/2 cup (125 mL) Ontario buttermilk or kefir
• 3/4 cup (175 mL) Ontario unsalted butter, softened
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) vanilla extract
• 2 cups (500 mL) icing sugar, sifted
• 2 tbsp (30 mL) 35% Ontario whipping cream
• Food colouring
• 1/2 cup Ontario unsalted butter, softened
• 8 oz (1 pkg) cream cheese, softened
• 4 cups powdered sugar, leveled
• Flowerpot (6-8 inches)
• Styrofoam ball or brick
• Scissors
• Skewers
• Botanicals of your choosing
