• ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
• ½ red bell pepper, trimmed, seeded, and finely chopped
• 1 tomato, finely chopped
• ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
• ½ teaspoon paprika
• salt and pepper to taste
• 2 cups water
• 1 cup long grain rice
