Peas on Toast Recipe | Birds Eye
Peas on toast, the new beans on toast! Add a little colour to your toast with this simple pea recipe using Birds Eye Frozen peas.
Ingredients
- 150 g Petits Pois 545g Bird's Eye Petits Pois
- Juice and zest of half a Lemon
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Garlic Clove, peeled and crushed slightly
- 10 g Fresh Mint Leaves
- 50 g Feta Cheese
- 1 tablespoon Crème Fraiche
- 1 small French Baguette, sliced into half slices
- Seasoning, Sea Salt and Black Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Basil Pesto (Optional)
- Prosciutto Ham (Optional)
- Paprika or Cayenne Pepper, for decorating (Optional)
