- Salt - as per taste
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Onion paste - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato paste/puree - of two tomatoes
- Oil - to deep fry the koftas
- Hing - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cream - optional as preferred
- Bay leaf - 1
- Jeera/cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves - finely chopped 1 tablespoon for garnishing
- Water - as needed
