Tea Loaf –
Delight your senses with a simple Tea Loaf recipe in just 30 mins prep! Perfect for busy days. Compatible with Ninja Combi cooker. Serves 10. Contains dairy, eggs, wheat. Easy & delicious!
Ingredients
- 175g sultanas
- 175g raisins
- 300ml strong black tea
- 1 orange, zest and juice
- 2 medium eggs, lightly beaten
- 275g self-raising flour
- 175g light soft brown sugar
- Butter for serving, as desired
- 6oz sultanas
- 6oz raisins
- 10fl. oz strong black tea
- 9oz self-raising flour
- 6oz light soft brown sugar

- Step 1 Grease Ninja Foodi Zerostick Loaf Tin, or a 900g loaf tin, with oil and line bottom with baking parchment, then set aside.
- Step 2 Pour 180ml water in the Combi Pan for steaming. Place the Crisper Plate on top and set aside until needed.
- Step 3 To prepare the fruit, in a large bowl, mix the sultanas, raisins, tea, orange zest and juice. Cover bowl with a clean tea towel and let the fruit rehydrate for a minimum of 6 hours.
- Step 5 Place loaf tin on crisper plate . Slide the pan onto Level 1. Close door and flip the SmartSwitch to COMBI COOKER.
- Step 6 Select COMBI BAKE and set time to 1 8 minutes and temperature to 1 70 ˚C. Select START/STOP to begin cooking (the unit will steam for approx. 20 minutes before countdown timer begins).
- Step 7 The loaf should be cooked when a cocktail stick is inserted in the centre and comes out clean. Carefully remove tin from unit.
- Step 8 Allow loaf to cool in tin for 1 5 minutes , before turning out onto a wire rack , allow to cool .
- Step 9 Serve tea loaf warm or cold, sliced, and spread with butter.
