Pasta w/ Jumbo Meatballs - Recipes

Ingredients

• For the meatballs:
• 1.5 lbs of ground beef
• 2 tsp garlic – finely chopped
• 3/4 cup of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
• 1 egg
• 1 TBL of salt
• 1 tsp of pepper
• 2 tsp of fresh chopped Italian (flat leaf) Parsley
• For the sauce:
• 2 TBL of olive oil
• 1/2 green bell pepper – diced
• 1 carrot -diced
• 1 yellow onion – diced
• 1 28 oz can of peeled & crushed tomatoes
• 1 TBL of dried thyme
• 1 TBL or dried oregano
• 1 tsp of red pepper flakes
• 2 TBL of granulated sugar
